We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician who is eager to develop their skills in understanding mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and interpreting schematics and blueprints. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within the eMaint systems and contribute to the creation of manual parts lists.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies, material, and equipment
  • Follows blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment under supervision of designated trainer
  • Learns the operation, repair, and maintenance of plant equipment
  • Assists in scheduling maintenance and works closely with operations leadership to schedule and accomplish equipment and facility repairs
  • Ensures correct and accurate documentation is maintained in accordance with requirements
  • Performs predictive and productive maintenance and machine repair under the supervision of the designated trainer.
  • Assists in the day-to-day support of operations through troubleshooting, problem analysis, and review of equipment failures under the supervision of a designated trainer
  • All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to successfully use hand tools for their intended purpose
  • Ability to perform basic Algebra functions (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, conversions, and formulas)
  • Ability to navigate on a computer to find information, enter information when prompted, print, search the web, use email, and manage a calendar, as necessary
  • Must be willing to learn, admit when something is unclear, and ask for guidance
  • Ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, mobility, and lifting
  • Ability to work assigned overtime, at times with short notice.
