Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Business Development Manager for our National Account team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. You will be critical to the success of our company by identifying new business opportunities, networking, and meeting with current and potential customers. With your passion for success, you will produce sales and profit by marketing our company's specialized services to potential customers.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

  • Responsible for growing new business by selling solutions to Federal, State, and Local Government Agencies within the United States.
  • Coordinate government contract marketing strategies.
  • Generates sales and profits for the Company using professional selling methodology. Maintains working knowledge of compensation strategies and market penetration.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from networking, newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet web sites, and other sources.
  • Work with internal business partners to manage joint selling opportunities.
  • Drive business development, build pipeline, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
  • Builds business partnership by maintenance of customer with regards to staffing needs. Makes follow up visits to customer to ensure satisfaction with company services and maintains on-going customer relationships with existing customers.
  • Reviews accounts periodically to ensure profitability, adjusts fees and pricing structures as required with Regional Director approval. Schedules and conducts periodic service audits to ascertain levels of customer service.

Competencies we value for this role include excellent persuasion and negotiation skills, ethical conduct, strong business communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, strong time management skills, customer-service orientation, strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), proven strong organizational skills, and an ability to effectively prioritize in a multi-task environment. We also desire 5 years of similar experience in sales.
