Duties:

• Furnace loading/unloading
• Batching raw materials
• Keeping daily activity records
• Preventative furnace and lab equipment maintenance
• Assisting in building new custom furnace/mechanical equipment
• Lab cleaning
• Carefully follow industrial procedures and working instructions
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Weekend shifts may be needed

• Technical school graduate or equivalent experience
• Craftsman skill level with assembly hand tools and light power tools
• Competence in the use of measurement tools, gauges, and meters
• Attention to detail and ability to retain communicated information
• Appropriate communication skills to convey information to other associates and supervisors
• Following guidance from superiors and proper chain of command
• Capable to work well independently assuming responsibility for own work
• Neat, accurate, and consistent work
• Preferred experience with furnace equipment, electric equipment, and optical components
• Capable of using standard PC software (Microsoft Excell, Word, etc.)
