Job purpose

Drive strategic sales and marketing to increase the Waukesha New Engine market share. Develop and retain clientele to achieve revenue goals. Provide and coordinate presentations. The Business Development Manager - Prime Power will grow the company by increasing brand awareness. Provide excellent customer service, driving new revenues by effectively challenging and motivating other employees.

Duties and responsibilities



  • Increase sales within assigned accounts / regions
  • Ownership and coordinating all sales activities as it relates to specific assigned accounts / region including setting appropriate goals / objectives for accounts / regions.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to all account / region team members
  • Staying in constant communication with the rest of the WPI/GE team to ensure that accounts/ region are being covered properly and that all issues are being addressed in a timely manner
  • Provide feedback to Engine Division leadership regarding sales, marketing and technology processes and tools to ensure that WPI teams are successful
  • Ensure that all Sales management processes are rigorously followed and enforced
  • Provide sales coaching and training to other sales team members on an as-needed basis
  • Ensure that all data/information within the CRM system is accurate and up-to-date
  • Proactively promote communication and collaboration across the entire WPI Engine Division organization
  • Participate and represent WPI in professional industry trade groups
  • Having sufficient knowledge of entire WPI product / service offering to ensure high probability that opportunities are identified and secured opportunities are passed on to the appropriate WPI team member.
  • Help to support Waukesha Pearce Industries training to the End User base
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications



  • Must have a minimum of 5 years in sales and marketing experience
  • Must have a High School Diploma, Bachelors Degree in applied discipline preferred

  • Must have working knowledge in sales and marketing as it relates to the overall business
  • Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company
  • Must abide by company policies and procedures set forth by the company
  • Must protect the company assets and interest
  • Must have the ability work flexible hours, days and weekends
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days and weekends if necessary
  • Must have Windows based experience (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook)
  • Must maintain good client relations
  • Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment
  • Must have the ability to effectively supervise, motivate and evaluate others.
