Base Salary Range of $90,000 to $120,000 (DOE)

What You'll Be Doing as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist:
Ensure L&S products meet all regulatory, safety, and quality standards in domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, legal, and quality assurance, to identify compliance requirements and mitigate risks throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop and manage regulatory compliance programs and processes, focusing on the following areas:
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure products meet all relevant regulations, standards, and certifications
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes that may impact products and advise stakeholders accordingly.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and certification bodies as needed.
- Product Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain compliance-related documentation, such as technical files, declarations of conformity, and safety data sheets.
- Conduct audits of product labels, manuals, and packaging to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Testing & Certification:
- Coordinate product testing and certification processes with third-party labs and agencies.
- Manage timelines and ensure successful submission of compliance documentation for product launches.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential compliance risks and implement proactive measures to address them.
- Develop and enforce company policies related to regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration & Training:
- Collaborate with R&D, legal, and supply chain teams to embed compliance requirements early in product design and development.
- Train employees and suppliers on regulatory requirements and compliance practices.
Skills and Experience You'll Need as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Regulatory Affairs) with 7-10 years of experience with regulatory compliance, preferably within a manufacturing or consumer goods company.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with product testing and certification processes.
- Familiarity with compliance management software/tools is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and documentation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Work Environment for
a Regulatory Compliance Specialist:
Work is performed in a normal office environment with occasional exposure to the manufacturing environment.
