TSC's Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (AISR) Division is currently looking to hire an UAS Mission Operations - Logistics Management Specialist with a focus on Group IV UAS Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) combat operations based in Ft. Huachuca (Sierra Vista, AZ). This position will primarily consist of supporting the division's test and training site. Support to other locations on a short term, as needed, basis within the division is likely. Core responsibilities will include the following activities:
- Logistical support of CONUS UAS and associated ISR, counter UAS and classified operations. Responsibilities include managing all logistics at the training site, ensuring accountability of parts and equipment, ensuring the site is equipped with the necessary equipment to accomplish the individual mission, inspection, evaluation, and analysis of logistic hubs to support operational capabilities, training, and supply chain management.
- Verify and maintain all warehouse and transportation records.
- Perform quality checks and services against bill of lading, invoices, purchase orders, or other records.
- Determine proper method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, rates, and key performance indicators.
- Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with buyer/shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Prepare transportation movement documents and related forms for shipment and mode of travel. Monitor freight, cargo, and materiel shipments to ensure accountability. Request, coordinate, and monitor movement schedules and programs; ensure transport capability is appropriate, cost effective, and meets mission requirements. Operate automated data processing equipment to document movement information. Respond to shipment inquiries, discrepancies, and routine transactions.
- Perform as Site Property Administrator (SPA) to ensure adequate controls and processes are employed to receive, store, transfer, maintain, and dispose of government property at division's forward locations and other alternate sites.
- Responsible for maintaining, generating, and creating various reports related to CONUS government property to include but not limited to, physical inventory results, discrepancies, loss/damage/destruction, corrective actions, and other property related functions as outlined by DoD guidance, TSC's Government Property manual, and the Government Property Manager.
- Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships.
- Manage the training division's Test, Measurement and Diagnostic equipment (TMDE)
- Arrange and track ground/air/maritime shipment requirements for supplies CONUS
- Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement projects for Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain Logistics, and Safety program.
- Responsible for shipment safety standards using correct handling methods and devices to ensure receipt at final destination without damage or discrepancies.
- Work directly with Program Government Property Manager, Distribution Manager, and on-site personnel to develop and manage inventory control program.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma plus 6 or more years of experience in industry or military positions in fulfillment/distribution/warehouse management and global transportation coordination.
- US Citizenship and at minimum a DoD secret level security clearance
- Willing to attend and successfully complete a Transportation of Hazardous Materials certification course and be capable of operating tier-lift truck or use hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Ability to successfully pass a valid OSHA approved forklift certification
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong operational background and commensurate leadership experience in one (or all) of the following areas: global transportation coordination and management, inventory control in an austere environment, or Government Property Management. Experience with Special Operations Tactics, Techniques and Procedures is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work, and maximize productivity. The candidate must be capable of technical discussion, complex problem solving, and scrutinizing prior assumptions. The candidate will have a personal interest in growing into a role of operational leadership and program management.
- Practical understanding of FAR property compliance regulations
- Basic knowledge of reporting, reutilization, storage, and disposal of Government assets
- Basic knowledge of industry or military property management best practices for the management of Government Property
- Basic knowledge of Federal Property Management Regulations to includeFAR clause 52.245-1, DFARS part 245, and other contract clauses impacting government property.
- Hands on experience of inventory scheduling, reconciliation, and reporting
