Minimum Qualifications Education: PhD or PsyD from an APA or CPA-accredited clinical psychology graduate program. Successful completion of an APA or CPA-accredited doctoral internship. Experience: Minimum supervised resident and postdoctoral hours for licensure as required the Virginia Board of Psychology. Completion of a specialty post-doctoral fellowship in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychology is desired, but not required. License, certification, and/or registration: Psychologists must possess an active Virginia license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist. License-eligible applicants are required to register as a Resident in Psychology with the Virginia Board of Psychology; license-eligible Residents in Psychology will be granted a period of two years to acquire licensure for permanent status in this position. Other Minimum Qualifications: Meets Carilion Clinic credentialing requirements. Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with physicians and other health care providers.
