We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Manager of Application Development to join our IT team at MetalTek International. This key role will oversee the development and optimization of our ERP system, business applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving innovative solutions. The Manager of ERP Development will work closely with cross-functional teams and mentor and guide a team of developers. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Oversee Development Teams: Manage and guide a team of developers to design, build, and maintain high-quality applications that align with business goals.
• ERP Application Design and Architecture: Ensure the development of scalable, efficient, and secure application architectures that meet the company's technical and operational requirements.
• Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and other departments to gather requirements and provide technical guidance for application development.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive the implementation of best practices in coding, development processes, and tools to improve efficiency, quality, and performance.
• Budget and Resource Management: Manage the department's resources, ensuring appropriate allocation of talent, tools, and technologies for successful project delivery.
• Mentorship and Team Development: Foster a collaborative environment and provide ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: A college or technical degree is preferred.

Skills:

• Experience with supporting and improving ERP software and other business systems. (Infor XA preferred)
• Proficiency in RPG, DB2, and SQL and a solid understanding of ERP-related technologies, such as shop floor data collection, API integrations, and financial applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent critical thinking, organization, and planning abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage conflicting demands.
• A proactive attitude towards improving efficiencies and implementing impactful change.
