Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction for the efficient operation and maintenance of all facility electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety systems. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals, promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and excellence within the team and organization. Develop and implement initiatives to optimize engineering processes and procedures, reviewing existing processes and providing recommendations to leadership. Oversee engineering compliance management to maintain regulatory standards and mitigate potential legal and operational risks. Manage essential administrative tasks such as payroll entry, vehicle fleet and uniform management, P-Card administration, onboarding/offboarding, and mobile device management. Collaborate with various account service lines (e.g., Facility Management, HSSE) to align operations with organizational goals. Develop and execute comprehensive reporting routines to support platform, regional, account, and client objectives. Oversee the development and maintenance of engineering playbooks and training materials, ensuring compliance with global standards and brand requirements. Manage the energy and sustainability program, delivering key ESS initiatives and innovations to meet client and JLL corporate social responsibility goals while reducing operational costs. Oversee portfolio-wide building automation systems and command center for remote management of HVAC and lighting. Manage Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking and critical incident reporting, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions on incidents or outages, improving processes, practices, and systems. Implement and manage JLL Operational Compliance Program (OCP). Administer technical skills assessments and the technical training program for facility engineering personnel. Skills Required: Strong technical knowledge of building systems, UPS, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, etc. Strong leadership and coaching abilities to inspire and develop team members. Emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust and rapport across all organizational levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and innovation. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with executive-level internal and client leadership. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor. Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to independently decide and escalate complex issues when necessary. Ability to create a positive team culture that promotes accountability, creativity, and continuous learning. Innovative mindset with the ability to develop creative solutions and think 'outside the box' to meet customer business objectives within scope constraints. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Qualifications: BA/BS in Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent engineering experience. 10+ years of facilities engineering and operations experience, with direct experience in senior managerial engineering/operations roles. Proven track record of implementing process improvements, driving innovation, and leading transformational change in engineering management. Strong understanding of financial impacts in building operations and commercial real estate practices. Extensive experience in client-facing roles and managing cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams to achieve exceptional results. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business objectives and constraints. Experience with Reliability-based maintenance is a plus. |
