The District Sales Manager will report to Syneos Director and will be directly responsible to hire, train and develop, as well as coach to success the sales team in their district in order to successfully promote product targeted physicians. The District Manager will be responsible for motivating, managing and developing the skill sets and overall performance of the sales representatives in their district. Effectively identify and monitor multiple local market conditions to build and support strong customer relationships while driving product promotion solutions and executing marketing strategies. Monitor field activities to ensure all are within compliance guidelines and provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions while collaborating closely with leadership, commercial operations, marketing and other business units. You will:

  • Hire, coach, and develop high performing teams
  • Manage and evaluate field performance on an ongoing basis
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals
  • Collaborate with client partners & vendors
  • Executive business plans aligned with program goals
  • Ensure administrative project actives are accurate, timely, and compliant
  • Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions
  • Create and deliver engaging presentations with team performance updates to customer
  • Work to understand customer needs and adjust team performance or strategy accordingly

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an encouraging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelors Degree - Advanced Degree Preferred
  • 5+ Years Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • 1+ Years of Management experience, training or participation in management development program
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills, especially in project planning, project implementation, and change management
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain prioritization of key projects and deadlines
  • Ability to meet travel demands
  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver's license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Experience in creating and delivering clear, data-driven presentations to both internal teams and customers
