RAPP Los Angeles is looking for an Associate Creative Director to join our award-winning Creative team.

Part of Omnicom's Precision Marketing Group, RAPP is comprised of 2,000+ creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 15+ global markets.

YOUR ROLE:

As an Associate Creative Director, you are an exceptional conceptual thinker who knows how to bring a story to life across digital and print campaigns. You're comfortable pushing the boundaries of creative excellence while keeping an eye on delivering required results. You know how to partner with cross-disciplinary teams and direct a group of creatives across every phase of the development from ideation to implementation. You take ownership of a project but may also parachute into different projects/accounts that need an additional creative vision.

Financial experience in the Consumer and B2B space is preferred but not required.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Ideate and execute creative concepts across both digital and print.
  • Constantly strive for newer, better, more innovative solutions.
  • Adept at serving as a "right hand" to the Creative Director.
  • Manage team workflow efficiently and take responsibility for delivery on time within budget.
  • Embrace the brand voice across multiple treatments.
  • Work collaboratively with creatives and cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to sell work internally and to clients.
  • Work with a variety of formats and materials to bring the concept to life.
  • Collaborate with Strategy to achieve the best solutions for assignments
  • Work closely with Account Management and Project Management departments to ensure that deadlines are met within budget
  • Stay current with changes in technology and demonstrate technical proficiency.
  • Execution excellence.
  • Clear and articulate team communication and relationship building.
  • Demonstrate an informed and thoughtful POV.
  • Proactively track trends in business and marketplace relevant to client business
  • Work with CD to address performance, workflow, and quality issues and help develop long-range plans for the creative brands
  • Be aware of and familiar with financial information that pertains to the Client's brand
  • Function autonomously on a day-to-day basis; but involve CD as needed
  • Demonstrate to clients that you understand their products and marketing challenges and are responsive to the strategic and creative needs


REQUIRED SKILLS:



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years' experience in advertising/marketing environment.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Financial experience a plus
  • Must have mobile competencies.
  • Experience in both digital and print mediums.
  • Must have a proven portfolio primarily of produced work.
  • Must demonstrate an excellent ability to write in multiple voices and styles
  • Ability to set priorities while handling multiple projects and to delegate work appropriately
  • Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Creative Suite software and awareness of new technologies or vendor partners that can amplify creative work

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Los Angeles and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
