E2 Optics, a woman-owned technology integrator, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to lead and manage logistics operations for OFCI/CFCI materials and oversee inventory management for Supply Chain. This role involves ensuring timely delivery, tracking materials, and continuously improving logistics processes to align with our core values of safety, efficiency, and excellence.

What You'll Do:
  • Material Logistics Management: Coordinate and track material deliveries, manage storage, and oversee inventory levels to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance: Develop, implement, and continuously improve logistics processes to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coach Logistics team members to enhance their professional growth and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Inventory Oversight: Track materials, reconcile packing lists, perform physical counts, and generate inventory reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean initiatives and track logistics performance using key metrics to drive improvements.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with return policies.
  • Safety Leadership: Set an example by promoting safety standards and professionalism on the job site.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, preferably in structured cabling or construction.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, with the ability to prioritize and manage the work of others.
  • Skills:
  • Strong data analysis and calculation skills for informed decision-making.
  • Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures for effective logistics operations.
  • Proven performance management and coaching skills.
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
