This is a 1st shift position: 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday) Overall Summary A Sr. Special Instrument Machinist is an individual who has mastered and acquired skills and tools necessary to fabricate and develop all custom and prototype components that are pertinent to the growth and future of MicroPort Orthopedics. The incumbent will specialize in the design, development and fabrication of jigs, fixtures, wax injection molds, and all custom components. Excellent work habits, patience, confidence, and teamwork are required of this person in order to produce the highest quality of product possible. Your duties will include:

About You We might be a great match if you have: * A great knowledge of mathematics including trigonometry is required to perform programming and operation of CNC equipment, including mills, lathes and EDM's. * An in-depth knowledge of engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is also required. Knowledge of all areas of manufacturing including heat treating, CAD/CAM, welding, and all machining practices is required. YOUR EDUCATION Required: High School Diploma or GED Preferred: Technical School Training YOUR EXPERIENCE
