Responsible for the development, deployment and maintenance of the all communication activities required for Human Resource initiatives and strategic goals.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead communication efforts in the design and development of tactical communication materials and promotional efforts for initiatives and operational activities, which includes but is not limited to copy/messaging, video, graphics, reports, presentations and branding.
  2. Design and maintain internal communications via myNorthsideHR, the internal website for employee communication.
  3. Develops and implements internal communication campaigns and maintains the content calendar to support strategic goals.
  4. Leads communication projects and collaborates with team members or other teams responsible for implementing communication strategy.
  5. Solves problems independently to create appropriate communications for and deliver information to key audiences.
  6. Maintains and produces reports for consistent analysis of campaigns, projects and initiatives.
  7. Follow the established process for collection of communications and for the routing / proofing / editing / production of the communications.
  8. Researches best practices and develops measurements to determine effectiveness of internal and external communications; makes recommendations based on analysis.
  9. Develops and maintains close relationships with staff across the organization that may need to communicate to the wider internal audience.
  10. Develops and maintains close collaborative relationships with leaders in various departments.

REQUIRED

  1. Four-year degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field.
  2. Minimum five years of relevant experience developing internal communication content.
  3. Minimum two years of relevant experience developing and executing internal communication strategy independently.

PREFERRED

  1. Experience producing video and editing video content for internal or external use.
  2. Experience creating graphics for print and digital media including but not limited to flyers, posters, post cards, web banners, booklets, pamphlets, templates, and presentations.
  3. Experience editing and creating content for employee intranet sites or other related web.
