Practice Manager Migraine Center Full Time 83463BR Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Neurology Nurse Manager, the Practice Manager will work independently and have primary responsibility for the supervision of administrative/clinical staff. The Practice Manager will be responsible for supervising the operational, human resource, administrative and business functions of the Neurology practice. The Practice Manager must have the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and work well with staff, patients and providers. A high degree of independence, initiative, assertiveness, and diplomacy are necessary in dealing with faculty, staff and patients in a complex environment. The Practice Manager is considered the subject matter expert and oversees administrative staff and operations for the Adult Neurology practice as well as some inpatient activities. Takes an active role in team building opportunities to improve patient, provider and staff experience. Responsible for smooth clinic operations for all providers. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $87,900 - $131,800 (Annual Rate). Outpatient services include but not limited to: New & established Telemedicine and in-person visits, Botox and anesthetic injection clinics. Inpatient services are an elective admission program coordinated with Dignity/Saint Mary's Medical Center partnership, where patients stay 4-5 days and receive infusions to break the headache cycle. The department is staff with four full time physicians along with nurses, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and practice coordinators; 10 FTEs total. Required Qualifications
