Under the general supervision of the Manager, provides support services to ensure smooth operations of the department.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Job Knowledge
    1. Will be able to comply with the Therapist's recommendation for intervention assistance for the benefit of patient/client managment.
    - Will transport patients to and from therapy as needed/requested.
    - Will prepare patients for trearment as directed by therapists.
    - Will provide patient supervision during therapy threatments as requested.
    2. Deparment Maintenance
    - Will keep department in a neat and orderly condition.
    - Will keep infection control policies withing the department for cleaning. Including daily sweping and mopping as needed.
    - Will assist with equipment manintenance and repairs.
    - Will perform equiment inventory.
    3. Administrative Functions
    - Will be able to file, fax and copy as required/requested.
    - Will assist iwth the tracking of new patient admissions.
    - Will prepare resident rooms for new admissions, including wheelchair, walker and commode.
    - Will be able to preform computer data entry as needed.
  • 2. Job Performance
    1. Will show compliance with company policies and procedures.
    2. Will be able to show patent respect through compliance with patient privacy issues.
    3. WIll be able to perform the volume of work under normal conditions.
    4. Will displays neatness with all aspects of the job performance.
    5. Will display acuracy thoroughness in job performance.
    6. Will display a position attitude towards job tasks.

    2. Will be punctual in attendance both to the job and to individual patient treatment.

HIgh school graduate

EXPERIENCE

Ability to read, write, and understand English. Computer Skills. Ability to preform simple mathematics
