Chevo is currently hiring aBusiness Analyst-Data Managementto join our expanding firm. This position will provide the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and to become a trusted advisor. The i deal candidates will have a working knowledge of enterprise data management and governance, federal data strategy, and other federal CDO-related mandates. The candidate will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO).
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Research, collect requirements, develop and document data policies and procedures.
  • Meets with client staff to understand needs and develop automated reporting solutions.
  • Create documents (data standards, etc.), status reports (both internally and to the client), presentations to the OCDO.
  • Provide expertise in defining and capturing the business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes.
  • Support the integration of data policies and procedures into overall enterprise data management and governance strategy for the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO).
  • Ensure policy and procedure conformity with applicable standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Plan, organize, and perform activities to accomplish the stated tasks or goals.
  • Facilitate customer meetings, enterprise-wide information sharing, coordination and collaboration on data management and analytics topics.
  • Maintain the content of a document/information repository with information on the overall Data Management Program and specific initiatives.
  • Take on other tasks to ensure timely and quality submission of deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, attention to detail, experience in the creation of complex data reports and analysis.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present a polished, professional, and diplomatic image to clients.
  • Ability to pass client security clearance requirements
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with data standards, data governance, data security, and data storage.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data warehousing and ETL processes, especially with tools such as Apache Parquet, Iceberg, Trino, Amazon RedShift.
  • Experience with Federal government agencies.
  • Excellent client handling skills.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $82,500
