M1 is looking for a Supply Technician. This role involves managing various supply activities for the US Navy,
such as inventory management, material coordination, cataloging, and tool control. The ideal candidate will
have strong experience in aviation supply systems and Navy logistics, with a focus on maintaining stock levels,
managing tools, and ensuring the timely delivery of required parts and materials to support operations.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Manage inventory for decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies and equipment, ensuring
accurate tracking and reporting.
* Coordinate the supply of materials for special programs, maintenance or production shops.
* Catalog supply items and manage supply channels according to agency regulations.
* Ensure all actions are carried out within the framework of established supply regulations, policies, and
procedures.
* Interact with operating officials and representatives of government agencies or commercial firms
regarding supply needs, material descriptions, or procurement lead time.
* Serve as the program manager for the tool control program, ensuring tools are properly maintained and
accounted for.
* Perform inspections and checks to ensure materials meet quality standards and correspond to receiving
documents.
* Support aviation maintenance material control functions, ensuring the proper materials are available for
aircraft maintenance.
* Ensure proper management of Operational Target (OPTAR) and Aviation Fleet Maintenance (AFM)
funding requirements.
* Order parts and expedite the requisition process for aircraft parts, ensuring timely delivery and status
updates to Maintenance Control.
* Track daily fuel expenditures, produce reports, and maintain accurate inventories of flight gear and
aircraft material readiness.
* Oversee hazardous material control and management functions in accordance with relevant regulations.
* Perform tool room management tasks in compliance with established procedures, including metrology,
calibration, and inventory tracking.
* Assist with reconciliation of fuel expenditures, monthly reporting, and the end-of-year financial close-
out.
Qualifications and Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* At least three (3) years of experience in Navy aviation supply systems or logistics, particularly at the
organizational maintenance level (NEC S18A).
* Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing a Navy Tool Control Program.
* Experience managing aviation supply inventories, aircraft parts ordering, and hazardous material control
preferred.
* Familiarity with Navy logistics systems, such as NALCOMIS, and the ability to interpret and apply
supply guidelines.
* Ability to work with foreign cultures and personnel to ensure timely equipment and aircraft support.
* Must have a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain government driving permits and forklift
qualifications.
* Must pass and maintain a T-3 background check and possess or be able to obtain a US Government
Common Access Card (CAC).
* Tire and wheel certification required.
* Must be able to work all shifts. Full time employment: however, 40-hours is not guaranteed per-
week. Working hours; must be able to be flexible, start time and end time will be dependent on
flight schedule and or overall tasking
Working Conditions:
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
* Constant sitting while using a computer terminal, frequent use of sight and speech/hearing for
communication, and metal alertness for problem solving.
* Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work under deadlines and in a
dynamic environment.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, including adhering to safety training and
emergency response procedures.
* Must be able to meet physical requirements and pass any medical examinations required.
