DEPARTMENT: Parks & Recreation

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Temporary/Seasonal

TYPICAL SALARY RANGE: $16.65 to $18.30 hourly, depending on years of experience.

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs various routine duties involving the maintenance of the City of Concord's Municipal cemeteries. May operate equipment and trucks as assigned and licensed. Works under the supervision of the Cemetery Administrator or his/her designee. Laborer may work unattended as needed or instructed by supervisor. Applicants needs to be 16 years old or over.

Examples of Duties

Performs maintenance work such as mowing, trimming, weeding, irrigating, raking, shoveling, pruning trees, planting trees, planting shrubs and flowers, mulching flower beds,. Performs custodial duties, maintains buildings and equipment. Follow and enforce department rules and regulations. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Performs other related duties as assigned.


Typical Qualifications

LICENSE:

A valid NH Operators motor vehicle license is required for all applicants 18 years and older

Passing of a driver history and criminal background check is required for this job for those applicants 18 years and older.


Supplemental Information

HOURS OF WORK:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, or as scheduled, up to 40 hours per week.
