Job Summary: The Carpenter I assists with fabrication and repair of wooden structures, partitions, fixtures of wood, wallboard, and plywood. Installs and replaces doors, windows, and hardware. Must drive from site to site.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Two (2) years of construction trades experience to include one (1) year in carpentry. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
