*Job Description*: The Social Media Engagement Specialist is the front line of after-hours monitoring and community response across social media channels. The goal is to help our health plans build community, manage reputation, and increase brand support. This after-hours support includes monitoring our social channels, analyzing online conversations, responding as appropriate, and providing high-level reports on trends, sentiment, and engagement. Successful candidates will bring a deep understanding of social platforms and tools, stay current on trends in social media, and focus on best practices to build social engagement. *Key Responsibilities:* * Monitor social media channels after hours. * Analyze online conversations and respond as appropriate. * Provide high-level reports on trends, sentiment, and engagement. * Stay current on social media trends and best practices. * Build and manage community engagement. *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * Degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. * 5 years of communications experience with 1-3 years of digital communications experience. * Demonstrated social media experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 2+ years of experience in social media monitoring, engagement, and community management. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. * Expertise with social networking channels including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, BlueSky, and other platforms such as Reddit. * Proven track record of successfully monitoring and analyzing social media conversations. * Familiarity with social media analytics tools and content management systems (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.). * Highly skilled in written and verbal communications. * Ability to work independently and as a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated passion for social media, strong desire to seek out new tools, and think creatively. * Experience with crisis management and issue escalation is a plus.
