We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our AN/BYG-1 and Tactical Control Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for enabling a seamless developer experience, focusing on the automation and optimization of infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and tools. You will play a key role in advancing mission-critical projects and ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable solutions for national defense systems.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Kubernetes and container technologies, including experience with DevSecOps pipelines, cyber security standards, and container orchestration tools. You'll be responsible for:

  • Automating infrastructure and tools to streamline operations, deployment, and monitoring processes.
  • Designing, implementing, orchestrating, and maintaining containerized environments.
  • Maintaining and improving the DevSecOps pipeline.
  • Collaborating with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure seamless integration of new features.
  • Developing and maintaining cyber-secure infrastructure.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and proactively implementing new technologies and standards.
  • Supporting a flexible work environment that emphasizes continuous learning and adaptability.



You'll need to have:

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable period.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field, plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies such as ArgoCD, Rook-Ceph, Prometheus, Grafana, Nexus, Helm, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
  • Experience with DISA cybersecurity standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and the ability to optimize developer experiences.
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
