Real Estate Finance Staff Attorney

Venable LLP's Real Estate Finance Group seeks a staff attorney with a minimum of ten years of experience to join the practice in the Washington, D.C., or Baltimore office.

The qualified candidate has experience with commercial real estate transactions, is well-versed in title, survey, zoning, and lease review, can independently review and analyze complex real estate and corporate due diligence, and has proficiency maintaining checklists and drafting basic loan documents. The successful candidate thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere and can manage and train legal staff including paralegals and junior associates. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar. The anticipated base salary for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 per year. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job-related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance.
