Essential Job Duties |
We're seeking a leader in project management to guide the successful execution of capital projects and other strategic initiatives that drive organizational excellence. This leadership role is central to shaping the future of our college by overseeing a wide range of projects, aligning them with our strategic goals, and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project management for a wide-variety of strategic initiatives as requested
- Lead the planning, execution, and supervision of all capital construction, renovation, and facilities enhancement projects.
- Act as the primary project lead and liaison for the design and operationalization of the college's new building.
- Develop and manage project budgets while ensuring adherence to timelines and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update the college's business continuity and risk management plans, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Dean's Executive Committee, faculty, and staff to achieve strategic project outcomes.
- Oversee health and safety projects, including emergency preparedness and awareness campaigns.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic alignment across initiatives.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications team to craft messaging around strategic projects and initiatives.

Other Responsibilities |
In addition to the core responsibilities of this role, there will be occasional opportunities to take on additional duties, allowing for contribution to university strategic initiatives, and making a meaningful impact across the organization. |
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in the area of assignment, of which at least one is supervisory or in a lead-worker capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
Other Required Qualifications |
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
- Advanced experience with goal setting, planning, and project management.
- Proven ability in strategic planning and identifying opportunities to advance organizational goals.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of managing competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, with occasional travel to collaborate with external organizations.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Master's Degree in institutional planning, public administration, engineering, architecture, business administration, economics, industrial technology or a related field, and a minimum of two years of facility and space planning with lead worker experience; or an equivalent combination of training and directly related experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience working with task management platforms such as ServiceNow, Trello, and Evernote.
- Skilled in supporting facility enhancement projects, both capital and non-capital.
- Expertise in managing budgets from diverse funding sources.
