Slitter Operator

Printpack Rhinelander - an industry leader in flexible packaging - is looking for a qualified candidate to fill our Slitter Operator position. The ideal candidate will possess initiative, communication and computer skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot issues.

• Operate a slitter at or above plant EFM goals while meeting all safety
• requirements
• Run quality product/identify quality issues
• Use PRISM to move orders/product through finishing dept
• Ability to learn/use the automated roll handling system integrated with the slitter
• Participate in preventative maintenance of slitters and automated roll handling system
• Have fine visual discrimination skills including color
• Ability to understand layout and specifications
• Ability to learn process troubleshooting skills and apply troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to learn/use PRISM
• Troubleshoot the slitters and integrated automated roll handling system
