Position Summary
The Department of Radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Division Chief of Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

The successful physician applicant must be certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Nuclear Medicine, be residency/fellowship trained in Nuclear Medicine (or have equivalent clinical experience), have excellent clinical, teaching and interpersonal skills, and have a strong interest or background in academic radiology. UNC Radiology is expanding its theranostic program, therefore a strong interest in operational development is encouraged.

UNC Radiology is committed to leadership in clinical patient care, education, innovation and research in image-guided intervention. The Chief position offers an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to build on the success of distinguished section and enhance collaborations between internal and external partners. The selected candidate will hold responsibility and accountability for administrative and programmatic oversight of the clinical, research educational and service activities in Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics in alignment with the department's strategy, vision, mission and goals. Obligations include departmental leadership and administration, delivery of high-quality care for patients, stewardship of educational and research programs in Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics, and faculty mentoring. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
