Legal Department Intern (Summer 2025)

The Lenovo Legal Department is looking for legal interns for Summer 2025. Work assignments will include exposure to contract review and negotiation; project work with lawyers on the Legal Operations and Technology team; and assignments relating to some or all of the following areas: commercial disputes, litigation, intellectual property, international trade, compliance and general corporate legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with contract review, negotiation, and drafting in multiple areas of law.
• Collaborate with attorneys on the Legal Operations and Technology team on a variety of legal matters.
• Support the legal team in commercial disputes, litigation, and intellectual property matters.
• Provide assistance in international trade, compliance, and general corporate legal activities.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics.
• Contribute to team discussions, strategy sessions, and other legal department projects.

Basic Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in law school and have completed at least one year of study.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

• Strong interest in both law and technology, with a curiosity to learn and engage in complex legal issues.
• Confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to live or commute to a Lenovo corporate office (Morrisville, NC or Chicago, IL area) for the duration of the summer internship on a hybrid work basis, remote positions may be considered
