How you will make an Impact (Job Summary) SPX is adiverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact.The Vice President of Sales, Cooling Americas, leads the sales and order execution team to achieve sales and margin goals for the Cooling Business Unit across all HVAC and Refrigeration product lines in the Americas region. This leadership role focuses on delivering profitable growth, meeting financial targets, and aligning with the organization's strategic objectives. Market Strategy and Operational Excellence * Develop and optimize go-to-market strategies and sales channels, including representatives, distributors, and direct sales. * Monitor evolving market conditions to proactively adjust strategies. * Implement and refine sales processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability. * Develop accurate sales forecasts and utilize data analytics to guide decision-making.

Industry Representation and Staffing * Represent the organization at trade association meetings and industry events. * Oversee staffing, training, and performance evaluations for regional sales leaders and team members. - Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Technical related field.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 10+ years' sales experience in a multi-channel environment.
- 5+ years of experience as a strategic business leader with responsibility for developing product and/or market strategies in a related industry and leading others.
- 5+ years' experience in the HVAC or related equipment space, defining market opportunities and developing channel management capabilities.
- Demonstrated track record for growing sales and expanding margins.
- Analytical and financial expertise.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
- Strong process orientation with experience managing complex, multi-phase projects and initiatives.
- M&A execution and integration experience preferred.
- Resourceful in consistently applying effective solutions to technical and people challenges
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in gathering, analyzing, and leveraging data to inform strategic and operational decisions. Able to identify trends, measure performance, and optimize outcomes using quantitative insights.
