McKenna is a subsidiary of FloWorks International LLC, which is a privately held company located in Pasadena, Texas.

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the expedient and accurate handling of merchandise into and out of the warehouse.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

  • Boxing or palletizing goods for shipment

  • Using online freight service sites (when available) to generate shipping labels

  • Pulling inventory for shipment

  • Recording weight and shipping costs for each shipment

  • Arranging for LTL pick-ups and private carrier shipments

  • Recording each day's shipments in the computer, including ship-to details, carrier, and a brief description of goods

  • Ensuring an ample supply of packing materials

  • Unloading trucks using a forklift

  • Inspecting received goods for damage

  • Comparing incoming goods to packing lists, receiving documents, or POs for count and part numbers

  • Placing received inventory parts in computer-designated locations

  • Managing placement of received goods for system jobs

  • Picking up or delivering goods locally, when required

  • Following ISO procedures

  • Complying with company safety procedures and training requirements

A must...

  • High school diploma and/or trade school certificate

  • Ability to operate a forklift and be certified to do so

  • Computer experience with order-entry systems, Word, and Excel

  • Proven ability to work in a team and train others

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be dependable with a stable work record

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

  • Valid CA driver's license with a clean DMV record
