POSITION SUMMARY:

The Gift Processing & Data Entry Specialist will be at the forefront of the Revenue Division's gift processing and data flowing into the CRM ecosystem. Processing and acknowledging gifts, maintaining the integrity and quality of donor records, and supporting the overall operational excellence of the Division.

Hourly pay range: $22.00 to $24.00 in addition to company provided benefits.

Hybrid Work Environment: Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the Twin Cities Metro area and report to onsite office three days per week.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Gift Processing - 50% of time



  • Gift Triage: Upon receipt of a gift, review accompanying documentation to determine gift provenance and alleviate any discrepancies on the road to appropriate gift classification (origin, associated marketing campaign, donor intent, associated foundations, acknowledgement language, etc.,).
  • Gift Processing: Open mail, batching and total checks, processing credit cards and electronic payments, assisting in the preparation of the daily bank deposit, updating relevant donor records.
  • In collaboration with Manager of Revenue Operations, oversee the timely acknowledgement of gifts to TPT's general operating fund.



Records Management & Data Hygiene - 35% of time



  • Lead the execution of data input into the CRM ecosystem with the very highest standards of accuracy and integrity with a focus on new account creation, constituent gifts, updating contact information, employment, membership, and other activities.
  • Maintain consistent data standards and conventions through continually identifying and correcting errors in constituent data.
  • Execute weekly deduplication and clean up query processes to surface and resolve problem accounts as assigned by the Manager of Revenue Operations.



Next Avenue Business Development Operations & Special Operations Projects - 15% of time



  • Support both Next Avenue's Contributed and Earned (Sponsorship & Content Licensing) revenue streams - including the coordination of billing and contracts, editing and scheduling, reporting and record management.
  • In collaboration with stakeholders in Finance, maintain compliant revenue and transaction records.
  • Oversee timely and personalized donor communications, including the acknowledgement of Membership gifts.
  • Various one-time data or records related projects as they arise, particularly around correcting historical data that has been imported from legacy systems.



QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience



  • 3 years of related work experience



Preferred Experience



  • 1-2 years of experience in complex data entry preferred.



Knowledge, skills and abilities:



  • Demonstrates ability to become comfortable and productive in TPT's current CRM, Salesforce.
  • Proficiency and experience with computers required with a strong understanding of Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn the nuances and considerations that differentiate a wide variety of payment types (e.g., Checks, Credit Cards, Stock, DAF, IRA, Wire Transfers, etc.)
  • Must be incredibly organized and detail oriented.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrates professional ethics, commitment to data security and nondisclosure when dealing with highly confidential constituent, donor, and prospect information.
  • Accountable for ensuring accuracy and completeness of all materials and database entries.
