Overview
The Ambulatory Nurse utilizes a systematic approach to nursing by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the practice of nursing. Provides healthcare to individuals, families and communities within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing. Requirements: Licensure/Certification IL RN, BLS within 30 days Education- Associates in Nursing Qualifications License/Certifications: Education: Other Knowledge/Skills: Responsibilities Provides health and wellness education to individuals and groups. Rooming patients: Collecting pertinent information regarding the patient's chief complaint, family history, social history, surgical history, and medication reconciliation upon arrival for a patient visit. Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate. Perform telephone triage of both acute and chronic needs for patient of all ages Provides and facilitates competent health care of patients and families in area of practice. Ensures adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice. Performs all essential job functions of a Registered Nurse (RN) Work collaboratively with providers in diagnosing and treating women with acute and chronic illnesses in pregnancy. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $25.69per hour - $42.9per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
