Job Description

Proficient in the field of videography and photography in a variety of studio and field exercise situations. Experienced in the use of highly specialized video and photography cameras and associated equipment. Uses editing software to include Adobe Creative Suite products (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and comparable editing software.) Knowledgeable with linear and non-linear editing systems. Schedule, shoot and edit production style documentaries. Assists more experienced editors with shooting and editing assignments. Performs other duties as required to complete the assigned mission. This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

Pay Rate:$28.95

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:

*Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
*Must have one of the following: 2 years related video editing experience, or an Associate's degree / Military training and 1 year directly related experience in related field.

Physical Requirements:

*Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
*Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.
*Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
*Must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the SOPs for Television.
*Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted.
*Must be capable of kneeling and standing for long periods of time.
*Must be tolerant of frequent weapon firings.

*Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.

*Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.

*Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

*Basic skills in digital video and digital processing.
*Working knowledge of electronics and computer systems.
*Able to pass a medical physical examination for flight.

Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements:

*Must be a U.S. Citizen.
*Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
*Must be a current TRAX employee or affiliate subcontractor for internal postings.
