Location: Los Angeles, CA
ECC is seeking local candidates for aProduction Control Clerk position working on-site for the LA country wildfires project. Candidates must be able to work on-site at the project location and be able to work overtime, nights and weekends as required.
The Production Control Clerk primarily compiles and records production data for Project teams to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.
Project start date is immediate and the position is expected to last approximately 12 months.
The Production Control Clerk may perform any combination of the following duties:
- Compile and record production data from work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques and ticketing system
- Record such factors as types and quantities of personnel/equipment that are utilized on site, materials used, and worker and department production rates, using a computer, calculator, and/or spreadsheets
- Export production reports based on data compiled, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, generating and distributing work tickets for use by subcontractors, and maintaining a daily list of personnel, equipment, and materials onsite
- Prepare written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities, and compiles material inventory records
- Register subcontractors and personnel in ticketing application for performance management and timekeeping
- Clock in/out subcontractors and personnel at start-of-shift Safety meetings and end-of-shift meetings
- Perform QC duties within the ticketing app database to ensure production data is accurate
- Miscellaneous additional duties may be assigned
Requirements
- Applies working knowledge of general principles and analytical tools to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations
- Solves moderately complex problems; analyzes possible solutions and assesses using standard procedures

- Usually determines work priorities; effectively manages multiple tasks and deadlines
- Communicates well by written and verbal means and may review work by others
- Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues in multiple locations
- Skilled in managing large volumes of detailed information accurately
- Adept at responding to critical requests, limited turnaround times, and demanding deadlines
- Intermediate knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Competent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, and internet
- Must be able to work extended days and hours
- Travel: Must be able to work on-site at project location and travel to project locations as needed
- Education: High School diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work experience on a fire debris removal project or similar disaster debris removal project
- Prior ECC experience on disaster or emergency project in an Administrative or Operations position desired but not required
- Basic understanding of contract language
- Work well independently and as a team
- Work efficiently with minimal guidance
ECC targeted pay for this position is $27.37 plus
H&W $4.93 per hour, up to 40 hours per week. SCA benefits of 11 paid holidays per year, 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of service. ECC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
