PD Training and Development Design Specialist (contractor)

Amplify is seeking an experienced educator who has designed and delivered professional development for school and district-wide audiences and/or training resources for adult learners. The PD Training and Development Design Specialist will create and refine onboarding assets for Amplify's Professional Learning Specialists. The ultimate goal of this work is to support high-quality internal training for PD team members so that they are confident and ready to deliver services that delight our school and district partners. This is a part-time contractor role, with flexible hours ranging from 5 - 15 hours weekly.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Create and design, as well as, refine and edit onboarding content resources for new and returning Professional Learning Specialists that support their preparation for delivery of high quality professional development sessions and understanding of key product knowledge.

  • Create course modules using the EasyGenerator authoring tool.

  • Audit current onboarding resources

  • Build systems and spreadsheets to support with PLS hiring & onboarding

  • Support the T&D team with copy editing assets created by other team members.

  • Other tasks as assigned by manager

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field or comparable experience

  • Experience facilitating Amplify professional development sessions within the last 2 years

  • Experience designing in-person or remote professional development sessions for teachers and/or leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrated proficiency with technology-based productivity tools, including Microsoft Office, Google Applications, video conferencing tools, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching and/or supporting implementation of Amplify products

  • Experience in instructional and graphic design

  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat, Canva and Wordpress

Compensation:

The hourly rate range for this role is $40.
