Position Function |
Under general supervision, direct, lead, assign, and perform duties related to custodial work required for the cleaning and maintenance of facilities, following proper procedures and techniques; perform set-up of rooms, including audio/visual equipment. |
Minimum Education |
1.High School graduate or equivalent (
GED). |
Minimum Experience |
1.Two (2) years custodial experience.
2.No allergies to soaps, cleaning agents, chemicals, or environmental factors in custodial service.
3.Must be able to climb/use ladders, scaffolding, and/or manlift of various heights to perform duties.
4.Must be able to demonstrate basic understanding of A/V equipment.
5.Must be able to read and interpret Student Center worksheets.
6.Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once, provide friendly and prompt customer service, and work independently.
7.Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety, hazardous materials information, and University policies, procedures, and communications, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
8.Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the university's auto fleet policy.
9.Must be able to perform all the mental and physical requirements as outlined in each job duty.
10.You must be 18 years or older. |
