Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider - just south of Washington, D.C.

MedStar Health is pleased to announce an Advance Practice Provider opening in our established non-invasive cardiology practice at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, a 200-bed acute care community hospital located in Clinton, Maryland, just 30min south of Washington, D.C.

This position includes mostly inpatient rounding with occasional clinic day - ambulatory office is adjacent to the hospital. The normal, full-time schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday, typically from 8:00am-4:30pm. Schedule also includes working one weekend per month, Saturday and Sunday. On those weekends the provider will have the Friday before off and Monday after off so they will not be working more than 40 hours. This job excludes call and after-hour responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in cardiology post-graduation. This team will consider new graduates with great interest and current/previous cardiac experience. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate thorough documentation skills, great work ethic and be able to work autonomously while being connected regularly with MD/DOs and APPs.

This position has a hiring range of $115,000 - $143,619.
