Utilizing extensive experience and expertise in Student Services, provides comprehensive advising and support for graduate students in the English and Philosophy departments. Independently advises students on the full range of academic and administrative matters, resolving complex issues related to academic progress, policies, and procedures. Offers guidance on navigating university systems and connects students to specialized resources, such as the financial aid office, graduate division, enrollment management, etc. Collaborates with faculty, department leadership, and CHASS administrators to address student concerns, recommend improvements to policies and practices, and implement solutions that enhance the graduate student experience. Serves as a resource to faculty and management on student-related matters, ensuring alignment with institutional standards. Tracks and manages funds designated for graduate student programs or initiatives in collaboration with FAO and Financial Analyst. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule (subject to change).

The full salary range for the Graduate Student Affairs Officer is $56,000 - $96,400 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
