Overview

The Integration Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Digital Solutions and deliver against the strategic road-map for integration and API efforts across multiple business units. Functions performed include identifying, advocating, designing, scoping, and testing various projects from beta to production state, management and expansion of current API portfolio and functionality, orchestrating go-to-market activities for new product launches, and communicating and training various audiences on business capabilities and features. The Integration Manager should have strong communication skills, with ability to transcend both technical and business audiences. The ideal candidate for this role must bring strong technical and problem-solving prowess to the table, with experience in management of both people and products.



Responsibilities

    Orchestrate new product/feature launches across multiple audiences, both internally and externally, including collaboration with marketing and legal teams on execution
  • Scope potential integration efforts, define risks, and prepare technical requirements for developers
  • Work closely with vendors and clients to beta test solutions prior to market availability
  • Partner with technical and product teams on execution of new products and enhancements to ensure successful delivery against product vision
  • Communicate integration impacting updates and needs across multiple departments and audiences including IT, product, marketing, legal, operations, and executive leadership
  • Communicate externally to both vendors and clients of varying sizes, on API and product enhancements, features, functions, and updates with a focus on management of technical offerings and a sensitivity to relationship impacts
  • Understand strategic position to effectively focus on opportunities that will provide most gain for solution availability in marketplace
  • Coordinate the on-going support and training of integration efforts to various functional departments within the organization (project implementations, technical support, sales, etc.)
  • People-lead integration support analyst(s)-Integration Manager to train, manage, and grow team for support of integration initiatives
  • Handle escalations and urgent scenarios with proper priority, attention, and demeanor


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Experience managing technology projects/products of various sizes and scopes
  • Experience with REST and SOAP API's
  • Experience with SQL, SOAP UI, Swagger
  • General knowledge and understanding of networking technologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of SaaS technologies and concepts
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Avid problem solver and multi-tasker
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle ambiguous situations independently
  • Desire to advance in career path
  • Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary.

Education/Training/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience with SQL, REST and SOAP API's required
  • Experience with product and/or project management
  • Previous people management experience
  • Payments industry experience a plus, but not required

Physical Demands:

  • This position requires; ability to work from home; work a minimum of 40 hours per week;
  • Hours are minimum 40 hours per week during company's regular business hours however evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand;
  • Work is in a typical office environment; prolonged sitting required (1-2 hours at a time); ability to move around the office to attend meetings; deliver items; gather supplies; set up meetings; etc. lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.
  • Work environment: Usual office setting; close contact with employees for long periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
  • Position may require minimal travel by car and/or plane

This role requires the ability to work from home in a virtual environment, where the following is required;

  • reliable high-speed internet access (hotspot not acceptable)
  • dedicated distraction-free home work environment
