Under minimal supervision, you will perform a variety of routine and more complex tasks to prepare editorially created content for digital production for the Bloomberg Law Production & Operations team. You will work in conjunction with team leadership to prioritize conversion, updates, and remediation of data to be delivered to product. You will participate effectively in scalable, transparent, and comprehensive processes that support project delivery and larger team collaborations.
What you will do:
Collaborate with Analysis, Product, Customer Experience, Production, and other teams to create and deliver technology-enhanced tools, content, and workflows for customers. Convert, tag, update, and prepare content for product. Develop, understand and/or interpret tagging specifications. Perform quality assurance testing on electronic products, including verifying completeness, accuracy, and functionality of all components of products. Facilitate implementation of comprehensive style and formatting standards for web pages and editorially created content in order to ensure consistent and intuitive user experience. Identifies problems encountered during the preparation of content for production, including quality assurance testing. Diagnoses and solves basic, routine, and more complex problems. Refers most complex problems to more senior staff for diagnosis and determination of solution. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Stay abreast of and effectively use software, electronic resources, and other tools to perform the job effectively. Collaborate across teams, develop and maintain productive working relationships, and communicate team initiatives in small and large group settings. Work independently, plan, organize, set priorities, and advance multiple projects simultaneously. Participate and solicit customer feedback to iterate and update products
You need to have:
Minimum 4 years experience in an appropriate combination of 1) publishing content for a variety of digital platforms 2) using web-based or shared project management tools 3) related experience in the area of digital content publication and production. High school diploma or equivalent. College-level coursework preferred. Excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability for project-based work, with the ability to work under a deadline and function across teams. Knowledge of SGML, publishing operations, and coding systems. Demonstrated ability to learn technical applications quickly and use electronic products for research. Familiarity with legal terminology. Working knowledge of Agile methodology Familiarity with legal terminology.
