About the Opportunity:

Toppan Merrill has an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Configuration Analyst.

You will be responsible for providing document analysis and configuration support on high visibility Medicare and Medicaid member communications projects. This position is detail-oriented, exhibits mastery of written communications, detailed reviews and editing of documents such as Annual Notice of Change (ANOC), Evidence of Coverage (EOC), Summary of Benefits (SB), Directory, etc. The Healthcare Configuration Analyst, Assoc is able to work with if/then/else logic.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with team members to derive and document shared content, business rules and customized content related to complex and abstract business needs that have an impact on healthcare-oriented member communications
  • Ensures that business objectives/requirements are met by:
    • Leverages a hierarchical shared data structure to most efficiently manage document content
    • Providing 100% accurate documents to clients
    • Meets client deadlines that frequently require a quick turnaround
  • Understands and implements, with direction from Senior team members, client requested changes in alignment with directives from governing bodies, including CMS and state government entities
  • Analyzes client feedback and determines the best method for implementing feedback into a database publishing environment, with direction from Senior team members
  • Perform edits as applicable to the situation based on the compared/contrasted data
  • Works with internal Senior team members to derive data elements and logic that drive automated publication of compliance-mandated communications
    • Imports and/or Enters data edits/updates and verifies output in support of automated member communications
    • Manages shared and customized content in a database publishing environment
  • Understand dynamic publishing and variable data technology (HTML, SQL) logic, technology solutions, data bases, data insertion, data feeds
  • Attention to detail in coding standards and code formatting
  • Proficient knowledge and skills in interpretation of edits
  • Works effectively independently as well as a valuable team member and is willing to help in all phases of the document development and implementation process
  • Ability to reference multiple resources within multiple screens to ensure content accuracy
  • Understanding which model choices/deletions of variable language by client
  • Utilizes web based store and product setup with internally developed tool sets. Working knowledge with objects, HTML, variable data and information

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum Experience

  • 2-4 years of related professional experience
  • Experience working with government or regulatory agency templates, documents, and regulatory compliance deadlines and rules preferred
  • Knowledge of CMS Medicare Marketing and Communications guidelines preferred

We understand that your skills deserve recognition. That's why we offer a competitive pay scale ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, based on experience and expertise. We believe in compensating our dedicated team members fairly for their hard work and commitment. Please note that actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
