We have a contract opportunity for a Facilities Technician in Durham North Carolina.
This position is initially approved for 6 months and could be extended until the end of the year.

Pay Rate:$16.50 /hour

Work Schedule:

12hr Day Shift. 7:00AM-7:30PM
Week One - 2 day on - 2 days off - 3 days on
Week Two - 2 days off - 2 days on - 3 days off

Responsibilities:

Construction is taking place and when new construction in the factory is in process,
itis necessary to do a walk through every 15 minutes to verify no fires take place.
Monitor areas for Fire every 15 minutes and recording in log book.
Will be required entrance into manufacturing areas where minor gowning is needed
May require considerable walking depending on size of Alarm panel coverage area.
Larger areas may require almost constant monitoring due to size.
May be assigned to assist facility technician if/when fire watch is not needed.
(Could include painting, sweeping, sanding, and walking)

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to stand and walk for minimum of 12 hours.
Requires walking every 15 minutes. May require using stairs.
Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders without aid.
Ability to write in logbook
Able to call for help in event of a fire
Mechanical/Facilities knowledge a plus but not needed.
