Experience: 7-9 years of experience

The candidate will contribute to the company's infrastructure development and automation efforts ensuring efficient and reliable operations. DevOps engineer should have a mix of engineering experience as well as infra/ environment

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to ensure consistent and reliable deployments.

Implement and manage configuration management using Ansible to automate system configurations and deployments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.

Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and performance.

Optimize infrastructure for cost performance and security by following best practices and industry standards.

Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on infrastructure-related matters.

Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations processes and procedures.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process and reduce manual intervention.

Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary measures to protect infrastructure from vulnerabilities.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve infrastructure and automation practices.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all infrastructure-related activities.

Qualifications

Possess strong experience in Terraform for infrastructure as code.

Have expertise in Ansible for configuration management and automation.

Demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions.

Show ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues effectively.

Exhibit knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Display understanding of security best practices and vulnerability management.

Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Show commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.

Demonstrate ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Have experience working in a hybrid work model.

Show ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and addressing infrastructure challenges.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $49,001- $123,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
