Now hiring a Supervisor Housekeeping!

Presbyterian is seeking a Supervisor Housekeeping to assist Housekeeping Managers in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness of work activities. Maintain good relationships with peers and assure a quality product is delivered. Fill in for the housekeeping manager in case of absence. Coordinate resources of the assigned area to achieve quality and customer satisfaction. Perform duties of Housekeeping as needed. Help train new employees on specific job duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum three years supervisory experience or three years experience in housekeeping related field with the aptitude to be cross trained in several disciplines required. One-year previous supervisory experiences preferred.



Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Trade or vocational school in any of the following fields preferred: mechanic or electrical field.
Good analytical skills, problem solving skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Computer skills a plus.



Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison for Integrated Support Service Housekeeping Manager, to customers and Hospitality Service Associates.
  • Provide leadership and serve as a role model for Housekeepers.
  • Help housekeepers establish priorities.
  • Monitor quality and service of work performed in their assigned area.
  • Help instruct, cross train, motivate, coach, and guide housekeepers.
  • Resolve daily issues presented in daily operations.
  • Attend department meetings.
  • Know, understand, and adhere to PHS and Department Policies and procedures.
  • Possess knowledge of and assure compliance with standards for Infection Control, EFPA, OSHA, JCAHO, and Health Department Administrative Code.
  • Perform other functions as required.
  • Monitor and report to Housekeeping Manager the performance of Contractors working for PHS Housekeeping Department.
  • Responsible for exchanging hazardous medication waste/CSRx containers as needed.
