SUMMARY The Analytics Manager oversees the team of Enterprise Data Analysts and the enterprise analytics ecosystem, enabling bank-wide access to business knowledge and data-driven insights for decision-making. As a key partner in implementing robust analytical tools and processes, the Analytics Manager defines the strategic priorities and initiatives of the Enterprise Analytics team and collaborates on relevant technology efforts. A successful Analytics Manager provides accurate, timely, and relevant insights regarding the strategic and operational efforts of senior leaders and line of business stakeholders, while adhering to governance and control standards. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, relevant production analytical experience, and at least two years of experience leading a team with analytical responsibilities required, preferably within the banking or financial services industry. Relevant financial, data, or analytics certifications are a plus. LANGUAGE SKILLS The ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents and to read and interpret data schemas. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to prepare presentations using original or innovative styles, techniques and make persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply advanced mathematical and statistical concepts to tasks such as frequency distributions, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply principles, logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
