Job DescriptionGeneral Statement * Oversees the activities related to the process development support and engineering functions of the Etch NAND applications for Micron. Scope Facilitate the use of resources to engage with customer development and provide sufficient process support to align customer schedules/goals with advancing the market share of etch tools and processes. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). Complexity Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of individual customer needs and current business trends. Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities. Interaction Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors/leads, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team. May require occasional travel to factory or HVM sites to manage relationships and/or oversee transfers/escalations as needed. Supervision Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors/leads, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. Experience Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience. EHS The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
