Responsibilities Peraton is hiring a Capabilities Development Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Fort Meade, Maryland. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Capabilities Development Systems Engineer on our team, you will provide recommendations on the use of operational platforms and strategies tailored to specific mission needs. You will develop operational concepts in support of mission and recommend technical and operational solutions; identify opportunities to partner and recommend engagements that further the mission for the U.S. and Joint Combatant Commands; and identify access and data gaps and recommend solutions to fill those gaps while communicating risks. You will serve as a subject matter expert and demonstrate experience with the following Technical Process Areas: Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal. Qualifications Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.

Target Salary Range $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. |
