Short Description

CCA Assistant Director of Quality Outcomes will serve as a key resource for CCA clinical/administrative operations. This position must hold RN, BSN, credentials with working knowledge of Administrative and Ambulatory Clinical Quality Outcomes.

Proven success in managing programs, informatics, and collection of data to ensure the success of CCA clinical operations. Working knowledge of regulatory compliances in an ambulatory setting with a strong understanding of HIPAA and business practices. Must display excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills. Ensures all quality and safety subgroups/task forces/committees are highly productive, meeting regularly with multidisciplinary representation as appropriate. Disseminates the outcomes of quality and performance measures across the service line with goals and available benchmarks.

Development, maintenance and improvement related to all quality measures for Cooper Care Alliance for which is directly or indirectly responsible. Perform continuous assessment of care delivery in ensuring consistent delivery of evidence-based care and standardizing care when appropriate to ensure consistent outcomes. Serves as the CCA representative and point person for CCA quality department to bridge service line and organizational goals when appropriate.

This position involves a strategic approach to integrating best practices in patient care, reducing risks, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability across all levels of CCA and the organization. Through collaboration with medical staff, management, and various healthcare teams, the Asst. Director of Quality Outcomes ensures that patient care services are delivered in a manner that balances efficiency with effectiveness and enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction. This role not only addresses the immediate concerns related to patient outcomes but also sets the direction for long-term quality improvement initiatives, making it an essential component of the healthcare delivery system. This individual will work closely with the Director of Clinical Practice & Regulatory Compliance of CCA with the responsibility for overseeing the clinical data collection and operation aspects for Cooper Care Alliance. Asst Director will be responsible for reporting out statistical data and recommendations for positive outcomes.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software. Good leadership, motivation, training, and goal-setting skills. The individual must present with great organization and time management skills with the understanding of health and safety standards in the medical industry. Must have the ability to establish and implement effective workplace procedures and ensure policies are followed.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Must be detailed oriented and able to perform in a fast environment. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proficiency in strong computer (EHR) Epic preferred and IT system capabilities i.e., Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.


Experience Required

3+ years' experience in clinical operations in Ambulatory Care setting

Provide a strategic approach to integrating best practices in patient care, reducing risks, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability across all levels of CCA and the organization
Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive quality improvement programs to enhance and achieve better health outcomes and comply with regulatory standards.

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to assess the effectiveness of quality improvement and patient safety efforts, making adjustments as necessary to meet organizational goals.
Advocate for patient safety and quality improvement at the policy level, participating in national committees or task forces to influence healthcare policy and promote best practices in quality and safety.

The ability to analyze complex healthcare data sets and translate them into actionable insights is fundamental for identifying trends in patient safety and quality of care.
Preparing detailed reports that communicate findings to stakeholders is crucial for making data-driven decisions that improve patient outcomes and organizational standards.

Utilizing advanced methodologies to analyze clinical data, identify trends, and implement evidence-based interventions is key to improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery efficiency. Collaboration with healthcare teams to design, execute, and monitor quality improvement projects ensures regulatory standards compliance and continuous enhancement of patient care practices.
Monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing healthcare delivery systems according to the latest evidence-based practices and regulatory requirements are essential for minimizing risks and optimizing patient outcomes. It includes the strategic implementation of quality improvement initiatives and the development of policies and procedures that encourage a safety and accountability culture throughout the organization.
