    Primary Job Function:
    To provide support, guidance and supervision to middle school age Quest Camp participants identified as having difficulty participating in daily activities, under the direction of Quest Camp Instructors. Program activities will take place at Minnetonka Middle School East and throughout the community on field trips. Provide guidance and ensure safety of students.

    Job Responsibilities:
    1. Provide support within Quest summer program to youth identified as having difficulty participating in daily activities. Assist in carrying out activities, supervising and providing guidance for youth.
    2. Model appropriate intervention strategies
    3. Participate in behavior intervention meetings when appropriate.
    4. Establish a positive and friendly relationship with participants.
    5. Assist with schedules, permits, class rosters, distribution of materials, and communication with instructors/staff.
    6. Provide supervision to youth on multiple field trips.
    7. Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.

    Job Qualifications:
    1. Experience working with youth with special needs or behavior challenges
    2. Proven positive human relations skills with adults and students
    3. Demonstrated ability to take direction and work as a team member
    4. Demonstrated ability to take initiative
    5. Evidence of friendly, out-going personality
    6. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
    7. Proven record of punctuality and responsibility
    8. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
