The Product Owner will focus on identifying, evaluating, prioritizing and defining new capabilities and features of our Human Capital Management suite and focus specifically on HR Administration-related business processes (including benefits, compensation, org hierarchy and qualification management). Their work will improve the productivity and satisfaction of millions of employees and administrators across over 1,000 companies globally.
Additionally, they will work to identify opportunities to improve the user experience (UX) of our existing solutions and opportunities to use emerging and cross-Infor platform technology. They will work collaboratively with senior product and UX leaders, sales, customer success, customers and engineering across the product development lifecycle including leading Agile Scrum ceremonies and managing a development backlog.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
  • Identifying, analyzing, evaluating and defining new product features and investments to strengthen the value of our HCM suite
  • Elaborating and breaking down roadmap investments in epics and stories
  • Leading sprint planning, backlog refinement and story time ceremonies with development teams
  • Maintaining a prioritized, well-defined backlog
  • Talking to customers and other market influencers to deeply understand their needs and potential roadmap priorities
  • Collaborating with customers, sales, customer success and engineering to industry strategists, professional service teams and other R&D leaders
  • Leading concept generation with other product stakeholders to ideate and validate potential solutions for the opportunities you identify
  • Driving product launch and release activities for new features of your product area
  • Reporting on roadmap development progress, product health metrics and user insights to leaders across Infor
  • Measuring user satisfaction, solution usability and adoption metrics
Basic Qualifications
  • Professional experience with HCM-related software (such as HR, payroll, scheduling, recruiting, learning management)
  • Experience leading Agile ceremonies and activities including maintaining backlogs and prioritizing sprints
  • Experience defining business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Experience in product management, UX design or software engineering
  • Experince leading customer-facing activities including requirement gathering workshops, research, roadmap reviews and demos
  • Product, collaboration and development tools (e.g. Aha, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, LucidChart, Miro)
  • User analytics experience
  • User-centered design principles and research practices experience
  • Presentation and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, Computer Science, Data Science or related field
  • Experience with lean requirement gathering and Agile Scrum development best practices
  • Knowledge of emerging and automation technologies (e.g. robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, natural language processing)
  • Pragmatic Institute Product Management certification
  • Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making
  • Knowledge of the HCM and work technology competitive landscape
We anticipate paying between $120,000 - $150,000 per year. You may also be offered discretionary variable compensation of $10,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
