The M365 Administrator supports the implementation and operation of Microsoft 365 by understanding and documenting requirements, facilitating and documenting system design and procedures, testing new and existing functionality, documenting issues, and preparing procedures and training material. This position is ideally based in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Work with business stakeholders from all levels of the organization and program teams to translate requirements into solution designs
  • Lead deployment planning sessions covering a range of Microsoft cloud and hybrid technologies including but not limited to Exchange and Intune MDM solutions
  • Automate user onboarding and device provisioning for technology refreshes
  • From approved design, build and deliver cloud and hybrid solutions leveragingMicrosoft tools from the M365 technology stack
  • Develop advanced PowerShell scripts for automating operation and management tasks
  • Develop application packages for installs and settings for deployment to end user devices based on business requirements
  • Provide support and guidance to internal clients, and technical teams in M365 solutions and best-practices
  • Develop concise and accurate documentation including implementation guides, knowledge guides, and standard operating procedures
  • Develop solutions which are readily implementable and supportable, in accordance with change delivery and service management standards and capabilities
  • Ensure appropriate quality controls in place including test regimes
  • Develop knowledge of the strategic and operational issues of the Firm and identify a clear vision of what determines a successful solution for the Firm

Qualification and experience/skills:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Five to eight years overall IT systems experience, with two to three years as a Microsoft solution specialist preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint Online
  • Experience with PowerShell for managing M365 environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Intune, particularly MDM and MAM
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure AD, SSO, SCIM, and Conditional Access
  • Exposure to multiple technology environments within large, diversified companies
  • Experience defining and executing cloud strategies and solutions using IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages
  • Knowledge of cloud security controls including, tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls
  • Experience of Data Center modernization programs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and standards
  • Experience of software lifecycle and delivery approaches including waterfall, DevOps and agile methodologies and ways of working
